Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers in Fresno

A smile leaves a lasting first impression. Imperfections on teeth affect self-esteem and prevent patients from showing their teeth. Dr. Jacob P. Weissich removes the barriers that diminish confidence in smiles with veneers. Serving the north Fresno and Clovis area, Dr. Weissich listens to patients’ concerns and provides solutions.

Why Choose Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain Veneers are one of the simplest ways to quickly and dramatically change the appearance of teeth. Veneers are ideal for people whose teeth are affected by the following imperfections:

  • Chipping
  • Misalignment
  • Discoloration
  • Gaps and Uneven Spacing
  • Misshapen
  • Wearing

With veneers, smiles can be straightened without wearing corrective braces and brightened without the use of whitening treatments. The process of applying veneers typically takes about two weeks.

Patients participate in customizing their veneers to the shade and shape of their choice. Most people choose to have veneers placed onto “the social six,” or the six most visible teeth of the upper and lower jaw. Porcelain veneers provide a long-lasting, beautiful, and natural smile.

How Porcelain Veneers are Work

Dr. Weissich prepares the teeth by removing a thin amount of the tooth’s enamel, usually about a millimeter. Using a putty-like substance, he takes an impression of the teeth. A lab manufactures customized, thin shells made of porcelain, and they are designed for the patient’s specific desires. The veneers are affixed on to teeth with a cement-like substance using a curing light. Usually, anesthesia is not necessary.
